Breaking News AI is an exciting team-building activity where participants learn, create, and broadcast with AI, developing practical skills along the way.
The experience begins with an introduction to AI basics, followed by targeted training on specific AI applications. Teams then dive into creating a "breaking news" broadcast, using creative thinking and problem-solving to bring their story to life. Each participant takes on a specialist role, such as scriptwriting, research, image/video generation, voice synthesis, or editing, utilizing AI tools to complete their tasks.
Teams work together using a provided brief and AI resources to craft their broadcast. Once completed, each team's segment is presented, followed by a discussion of the tools used and any challenges faced.
Breaking News AI is a hands-on, fun way to learn AI skills while fostering teamwork, creativity, and collaboration. It shows how AI can complement human abilities, helping participants see AI as a tool to enhance their work rather than replace them.
A post-activity debrief encourages reflection, where participants can share insights, discuss challenges, and explore how AI can boost productivity. This session also opens the door to ethical discussions, ensuring a comfortable, supportive environment where AI is embraced positively in the workplace.
