In this one hour Tropical Gold Mixology Masterclass we will highlight two different styles of rum libations: An Elderflower Bellini; a twist on the original peach Bellini, which will take you to the Grand Canal in Venezia on a hot summer's day and an Eventology original; The 24 Karat Sour; a smooth, tropical, creamy, spirit-driven cocktail topped with edible 24k golden flakes! The mocktail version of this kit will be sent to your home. The kit includes the ingredients needed to make two cocktails and one mocktail. All you need to do is pick up the Rum & Bubbles!
Step #1: Have your mocktail kit opened and ready with equipment listed to the right on hand.
Step #2: Ensure that your technology works and everything is plugged in or charged.
Step #3: Ensure you have video and chat enabled.
Step #4: Get dressed to impress and ready to drink GOLD!
What you need:

Set up your equipment in your kitchen. Preferably near a burner or stove top. You will also need the following items or something similar on hand at your workspace.
- I x 350ml bottle of rum (any brand)
- At least 200ml of bubbles (any brand or type, cava, prosecco or champagne)
- Access to running water
- 1 x Cutting board
- 1 x Paring knife or similar
- 1 x Peeler (good to have but not essential)
- 1 x Small pot
- 1 x Strainer
- 1 x Small bowl filled with ice
- 1 x Rocks glass or similar
- 2 x Martini glass or wine glass or champagne flute
- 1 x Cup of white sugar
- 2 x Small side plates
- Measuring cups
- 1 x Teaspoon
- 1 x Wooden spoon
- 1 x Cocktail Shaker or Mason Jar

Michael Dorbyk is a dedicated hospitality veteran with over 20 years experience. As co-owner of the legendary Monarch Tavern he curated a collection of the finest rare Bourbon available in Ontario and oversaw a deliciously accessible bar program for thirsty Torontonians. Michael‘s love of the arts led to his opening of Bracebridge Hall, a gallery bar and live music venue located in the heart of Muskoka. His cocktail creation "The Bridge" was published in Corby Spirit new book titled “A Toast From Coast To Coast”. Michael is likely drinking a Manhattan at this very moment.
