In this 60-90 minute lunch and learn session, we use our team activity Need for Speed Need 4 Speed to focus on process improvement within a team. Participants conduct a time and motion study in miniature, assembling a range of โsnap togetherโ concept cars in record time. This fun and frenetic table-based activity actively encourages participants to review and improve performance.
The session begins with our facilitator setting the stage and energizing the teams. Faced with a jumble of model components, teams must switch into overdrive to assemble their cars as quickly and efficiently as possible. The cool designs and tactile nature of the cars are guaranteed to bring out the inner child in all who take part.
As teams work on their cars, they must explore and discuss process improvement strategies. This activity serves as a great platform to ignite discussions on enhancing efficiency and performance in a practical and enjoyable context.
After completing the activity, participants engage in a facilitated discussion and debrief session. This allows them to reflect on their process improvement strategies, share insights, and discuss how to apply these skills in their daily work environment. The debrief helps reinforce key lessons learned and encourages participants to continue exploring process improvement practices.
