Lee Smart is an actor, comedian, improviser, live event emcee/host, facilitator, writer and alumnus of the famed Second City Main Stage in Toronto, Canada. He spent several years in the role of creative director and lead facilitator for Second City Works, the corporate training & education division of the theatre. With a career spanning more than three decades, Lee received the Canadian Comedy Award for his work on stage at Second City, as well as the Gemini Award for Best Comedy Writing for television.
Lee is the creator, writer and star of the critically acclaimed Comedy Network series, The 5th Quadrant and can also be heard improvising over 10 seasons of his award-nominated sci-fi comedy podcast “Illusionoid”, created with fellow improvisers Paul Bates and Nug Nahrgang. He can also be seen in several in movie and television projects, including the Paramount series “The Westies” and the upcoming CBS crime-dramedy “Einstein”.
Lee has also spent time on Norwegian Cruise Lines, where he served as the dynamic host of the legendary gamesshow the “The Price Is Right Live”, delighting audiences from across the world, with the iconic call to ‘come on down’!
Lee along with his partner Lindsay Leese, offer training, creative services, and interactive keynote sessions. Together they share valuable improv practices that focus on the skills that promote teamwork, engagement, spontaneity, creative thinking and, of course, a serious amount of fun!
