In this 45 minute practice, you will be guided through a series of time-tested meditation styles designed to relax your body and mind.
In order to metabolize the stress hormones we produce daily, our body and mind need to enter specific states of rest; sleep is one way to achieve this rest, but many of us do not sleep well enough to bring us back to baseline before starting the next day. Certain styles of meditation have been shown to be up to three times more rejuvenating than sleep.
By combining elements of breath awareness, body scan, and visualization we are systematically relaxing different parts of the brain to best achieve homeostasis.
